The Challenges

The key trend in the automotive market worldwide has long been the innovative technologies that allow for lightweight vehicles and parts. INFINO® PBT/ASA/GF AR-5300H comes with excellent dimensional stability, a feature of PBT. In addition, it has high flowability and weatherability -- characteristics of ASA. At the same time, AR- 5300H has enhanced its thermal stability through the GF reinforcement, particularly with the help of LOTTE Chemical’s unique technologies that greatly reduce the defective appearance stemming from the GF protrusion, and effectively minimize the deterioration in dimensional stability related to anisotropy.

AR-5300H’s dimensional Stability and flowability allow for not only large-sized and complicated design, but also improved productivity. In addition, it is built on the improved defect rates, which secures high surface quality and lowers material/system costs.
