Plant #1 > Utility - Raw Water Treatment Facilities
The Utility plant produces and supplies various utilities (air, water, etc.) required for the production process and operates pollution prevention facilities (wastewater treatment plant, VOC incinerator, flare stack). The plant is broadly divided into 3 sections: AS (Air Separation), WT (Water Treatment), and WWT (Wastewater Treatment).
■ Production process
01 Settling Tank
It eliminates solids and colloid through the high-gravity reactive precipitation method
02 Sand Filter
It eliminates solids using sand.
03 Activated Carbon Column
It performs the function of eliminating organic matter using activated carbon.
04 Ion Exchange Resin Tower
It performs the function of producing boiler water for steam generation by eliminating ion content in water using ion exchange resin.
05 Detector
It performs the function of eliminating oxygen in water by heating the water using steam.
